- Provide emergency power and rental assistance to prevent service interruption or eviction
- Help with transportation options to and from medical appointments and the local food bank
- Operate a medical equipment loaning program
- Assist families with memorial services
Meetings & Dues
Meetings are the fourth Wednesday of each month at 2:00 pm at the Driftwood Key Clubhouse located at 37608 Vista Key Dr NE, Hansville, WA 98340. Note that November and December meeting dates will not fall on regularly scheduled days (the 4th Wednesday of the month) due to holidays. Membership dues are only $10 per year.
Free Cemetery Plot Information
If you are or have been a permanent resident of Hansville (including residents of the Cliffside development) for over a year, you are eligible for a free cemetery plot at the Hansville Cemetery. You can reserve a burial plot by contacting us. In addition to the residency condition, another requirement is that your loved ones provide a flat grave stone and have it in place within a year after burial. We can help you get one for a very reasonable cost if assistance is required.
Annual Events & Fundraisers
KITSAP GREAT GIVE
On April 23, 2019, Kitsap Community Foundation hosts the Kitsap Great Give which solicits donations for 501(c)(3) non-profit organizations that are located in or provide services to Kitsap County. Donations for this event can be made as early as April 9.
MEMORIAL DAY SERVICE
Memorial Day Service is held the Sunday of Memorial Day weekend, May 26, 2019, at 12:30 pm at the Hansville Cemetery to honor the veterans buried there. The Cemetery is located at 37900 Hansville Rd NE, Hansville WA 98340. The service includes a flag ceremony, reciting the Star-Spangled Banner, and reading of the names of each veteran.
The annual Garden Tour fundraiser is a self-guided driving tour of various gardens belonging to individual Hansville residents. The event also includes works available from local artists for sale at select garden locations.
Tour Date: Saturday, July 20th, 2019 from 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Ticket Price $20 ~ Available at: Hansgrill Store, Kingston Mercantile and Marine, Thistle Floral and Home, Savage Plants, Greenwoodes Farm Bakery, and Valley Nursery. On the day of the tour, tickets will be available at all garden locations.
ARTS AND CRAFTS SHOW AND BAKE SALE
The Holiday in Hansville Arts and Crafts Show and Bake Sale is an annual fundraiser which includes approximately 30 independent vendors selling items at the show as well as a raffle. In partnership with the local 4-H, the event also includes the sale of baked items prepared by Hansville Helping Hands members. No tickets are required for attending the event.

MARTHA & MARY PIE SOCIAL
Each November, in partnership with the Hansville Community Church, members of Hansville Helping Hands visit the Martha & Mary Health and Rehabilitation Center located at 19160 Front St NE, Poulsbo, WA 98370 for our annual pie social. Members bake and serve pies for the residents while the Boot Scoot’n Grannies provide entertainment.
Date: TBD – Typically occurs in early-November
The McTakeover is a fundraising event at the McDonald’s located at 10977 NE State Hwy 104 in Kingston. Come support Hansville Helping Hands while members volunteer at the Kingston McDonald’s working behind the counter and selling coupon books. Our organization receives a percentage of the proceeds during the volunteer time with a portion of sales also donated to Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) of Western Washington.
