The Greater Hansville Area Advisory Council

Background: Formally established in 2007, the Greater Hansville Area Advisory Council (GHAAC) is a communication forum, information exchange, and direct advisory link to Kitsap County government. GHAAC has been involved in a variety of projects aimed at preserving the unique quality of life in the Greater Hansville Area. Major neighborhoods and community groups in the Greater Hansville Area are represented through GHAAC membership.

Mission of  GHAAC: To communicate with and represent the interests of the Greater Hansville Area (GHA) with Kitsap County, other government entities, non-government organizations, and individuals inorder to prioritize, organize and facilitate enactment of GHA mandated goals in accordance with the GHA community’s values.

Meetings: GHAAC meets bi-monthly on the second Tuesday of the month at 6:30 PM at the Community Center.  The public is welcome at all meetings.

Greater Hansville Area Community Plan (Click here to view) :This is a Kitsap County Planning Document, developed by GHAAC with assistance from Kitsap County staff, and approved by the Kitsap County Commissioners.
