RummageSale_2012While it may seem that the Greater Hansville Community Center annual Rummage Sale was just a few weeks ago, we’re already making plans for the 2012 Rummage Sale. For example the drop-off dates which have typically been on the third Saturday of each month will move (Except May) to the second Saturday of the month. Also, there will be a December 2011 drop-off to make room for all those new Christmas items coming into your homes and to take advantage of the tax benefits of making donations to a non-profit organization. Don’t forget to get your GHCC donation receipt.

GHCC will still be picking up Rummage Sale items on the drop-off dates for free, but will request a $25.00 donation for pick-ups requested on non drop-off dates. This is part of our new “SOB” program that helps to “Save Our Backs” by limiting pick-ups to just special cases. To schedule pick-ups for the 2012 GHCC Rummage Sale, please call Chuck Strahm @ 638-2882.

Don’t forget there is always room for volunteers. Especially for making pick-ups, where else can you be part of an SOB program and have it be fun. Volunteering at the Rummage Sale is a great way to meet people and make new friends.
