GHCC Zoom Travel Webinar

The first of our three Zoom webinars on Life in Foreign Countries is scheduled for Thursday, January 14 from 7.00 to 8.00 p.m. Keith Beebe, GHCC’s newest board member, will be presenting a travelogue on the three years he and his family spent living and working in Prague and the Czech Republic. Keith will describe the challenges and humor of everyday life overseas.
The webinar will be accessible to anyone with a system that supports internet access and a browser. Don’t be discouraged if you have no prior experience with Zoom. Simply follow this link to set up Zoom on your system, and then return to this page shortly before the start of the event. If you have had prior experience with Zoom or you have completed the suggested Zoom setup, all you need to do is Click on this invitation link shortly before the start time for the event.
Once Zoom opens, click on “Join with Computer Audio,” otherwise you will not be able to hear the presentation. You will be directed into a virtual waiting room. Your screen will read “Please wait the host will let you in soon” The host will admit you to the webinar around 7 p.m.
If you have a question for Keith you can send him a message via the host using the chat box. While the webinar is in progress, click “Chat” in the meeting controls at the bottom of the screen. This opens the chat box so that you can type a message. Or you can just relax and enjoy the experience.
The evening should be a lot of fun. We are looking forward to meeting our friends and neighbors on Zoom.
