This month GHCC’s Armchair Travel series takes you to Argentina. Once again, we follow the redoubtable Beebe family as Keith and Michele live and work in Buenos Aires while their two daughters attend school. TWO ARGENTINAS highlights urban and pretentious Buenos Aires, the self-styled “Paris of South America”, and its wide variety of neighborhoods ranging from upscale Recoleta to the grinding poverty in the barrios known as “Villa Miserias.” In four years the Beebes travelled throughout the SECOND ARGENTINA, visiting the tropical Iguazu Falls bordering Brazil, the Mendoza wine country, backpacking the breathtaking Patagonian Andes and an Argentina steeped in tradition and belief dating to the time if the Incas. Keith will be your tour guide.
