So spring is here and you’re doing a little cleaning and clearing. What do you do with all that old stuff that you just don’t use anymore but it’s just too good to throw away? Wanna get rid of that stuff? We have an answer for you to consider. In 2023, we started a new event lovingly called “Junk in the Trunk” – a Community Garage Sale and Swap Meet. To our surprise, we found that “Junk in the Trunk” sales are very popular nationwide. For the past two years, the sale has been pretty popular so we’ve expanded the footprint to make room for more sellers, up to about 60 spaces. Each space is 15 feet wide and 30 feet long, enough room to drive right in and park your car, open the trunk, and start selling right then and there.
The space rentals will be $25 again this year, same as last year. Reserving a space is simple as pie, just fill out the vendor application online along with your payment at https://hansville.org/jitt-registration.
This year we will be featuring a food vendor instead of a snack bar.
There will be free parking for buyers.
Of course, we always need volunteers for a BIG event like this. There will be lots of jobs available during the set-up prior to the sale, on the sale day we’ll need some volunteers to help with the directing traffic. Let us know if you’d like to help. This was a really fun event last year.
You will all have a great time. Come and join us.
