Junk in the Trunk Sale

Ever since the annual rummage sale was discontinued we have struggled to come up with another event in a different format to replace it. We finally settled on a community Garage Sale/Swap Meet. Then we found that “Junk in the Trunk” sales are very popular nationwide, in fact they seem to be popular worldwide. Just search “Junk in the Trunk” online and you’ll see what we mean.
Our first “Junk in the Trunk” is this Saturday. We plan to hold this event at Buck Lake Park on the athletic fields toward the south end of the park. We currently have around 35 vendors spaces where sellers can park their cars and have room to sell their wares. Free public parking is available right next to the booths. We will also have a snack bar available to purchase hot dogs or a pulled chicken sandwich meal for $8 including chips, cookies, and soda or water.
Buyers — Since phone service and wifi is not readily available at the park, please bring cash.
Buyers are welcome at 10:00 am and can shop until 3:00. We have lots of good items available from our vendors and you will be surprised at the wide variety of goods. Come out and play!
