Each summer, on the second full weekend of August, a very large Rummage Sale happens right here in Hansville, at the Greater Hansville Community Center in Buck Lake Park.

The Rummage Sale has been an important and on-going activity in the Greater Hansville Area since it first began in 1968! Over the many years since then it has grown into a community wide event, with activities spread over months of behind the scenes preparation, multiple Drop Off Days, approximately two weeks of on-site setup, and finally a full weekend for the Big Rummage Sale itself.
